Or how can you describe the incident that almost sparked civil war in Zambia, what about the general elections which took place in Nigeria; which observers said was marred with so much violence and irregularities. Or need I point out the recently cancelled election in Venezuela? Just to mention a few. All these points made are not natural occurrence but man made disasters that has over decades characterized African politics. These character is what has bedeviled the African continent causing poverty, wars and set backs. Only if our politicians would look back at the monsters they are creating. Only if the up coming generations of Africa would look back at the mistakes of their predecessor s and try to correct it. Only if we the people of Africa would look beyond our shoulder with love, respect and value for human beings; only then will Africa become a wonder of the world....

He is spending the night at his child's Congres-Indians school in Barcelona, hoping to be joined by many other activists before police are expected arrive at 6 a.m. Sunday to clear the school to keep it from being used as a voting station. Satinya doesn't expect police to forcibly take them out of the school if the crowd is large enough to make removals difficult. He says "I am Catalan, but my fight is for social and civil rights, and that is what this about." He adds "I believe in the basic right of self-determination." ——— 6:00 p.m. A grassroots group tha...
