Someone told me long ago that the meaning of "POOR" is
P-passing
O-over
O-opportunities
R-repeatedly.
Going with this definition, it is clear that opportunity doesn't come once in a man's life.
Life is full of opportunities but only the wise utilize those opportunities. This is why I seriously frown at people openly classifying them selves as poor as though it is nobility.
As a person I do not subscribe to people making excuses for them selves or for some other person as to why one should help them.
Listen, my money is my money, I am not under any obligation to render any assistance to you if you categorize your self as poor. If I should help you, it should be willingly from a genuine heart.
Come to think of it, poverty is not lack of money but lack of wisdom. A broke man today has had some money at a time in his life, so what happened? If you seriously think you are poor because you don't have money, then you are the chief poppa.
The human mind has been fixed with all that pertains to life and Godliness. So please work out your salvation.
To young men and women, do you think your government is not doing enough to curb unemployment, therefore, you cannot feed and as a result you are poor? If that's the case then I pray that your economy gets tougher.
I pity young men and women who sit and nag about their government inefficiencies. Brother, Sister, your government owes you nothing.
As humans we have so much missed it in life that is why we have too many liabilities hanging around the rich and when the rich decides not to support, he becomes bad.
My dear! All you need to come out of poverty is within you, not in your rich neighbor, friend, pastor, father, mother or uncle etc. Depending on someone else for your survival is putting your life on hold expecting someone else to start it.
Beloved, your brain is the capital of your body and if God the Omnipotent can do nothing without your mind, do not expect to be successful without your mind. " if the use of a thing is not known, abuse is inevitable "....Myles Munroe.
I know many poor persons will be too busy to read this but here are 8 wisdom keys to fruitfulness according to 2 peter 1:5-7:
1. Diligence
2. Virtue
3. Knowledge
4. Temperance
5. Patience
6. Godliness
7. Kindness
8. Love
NOTE: God is our Jehovah Jireh not mortal man. He blesses men not for your sake but for the sake of fulfilling His purpose. Do not be a liability to men rather become an asset. The only person you are permitted to be a liability to is God because that is how He has ordained it.
REMEMBER: The earth owes you nothing rather you are indebted to the earth. God has made us contributors to the earth and not collectors.
When I succeed, you succeed, the world would be a wealthy place.
