NIGERIA QUALIFIES FOR RUSSIA 2018

NIGERIA 1-0 ZAMBIA

Nigeria has made it to the list of qualifiers for Russia 2018 world cup tournament. The African side which is the first to qualify had in previous weeks been talking tough along side their rivals Zambia., The super eagles brought to rest all challenges today as they qualified with 13 points.


Nigeria super eagles which dominated the second half of the game with 51% ball possession, made good their promise when Alex Iwobi scored in the 73 minutes against Zambia. The match ended 1-0 giving Nigeria the qualification needed for 2018 World cup in Russia.

However, Nigeria will still face Algeria in their group stage while Zambia will face Cameroon in group B.

The Lagos State Branch of the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) has set up a taskforce to arrest members of the association driving against traffic in the state.
